Fresh snow up at this cabin as of yesterday our winter has been very, very dry with a record number of days without rain/snow being broken yesterday I'm going to let all the crazy skiers get their fill before I head up to check out the views
Thank you! I wish this cabin wasn't on private land (well documented STAY OFF private land ) as I'd love to get some different angles on it...can only take them from the road... I'd say this little cabin is one of the most photographed in the area especially in the fall when we get our little bit of autumn color...
It is indeed Finally "found" it last fall and promised myself to get back up with snow There were sooooo many photographers there for the leaves but none this day...and it looks pretty good with the bare trees (only people parked near here were there for cross country skiing or snow shoeing )
Glad you like it! I love getting positive responses from people who've actually been to the 'scenes'
That is so great you got this. We have been seeing almost something like this on the way back from breakfast for 15 years and its on a busy street and you have to park the car and walk to it and we always mean to do that and today coming back from breakfast we passed it and there were cars parked down there in a ditch and as we drove by we saw they tore it down and rebuilding a new one....... After all these years y would they rebuild something like that on land that is not even being used. I got a crappy drive by shot of it the other day and next Wednesday we will see what they have done.. Serves me right!
Oh no!!! How sad ): Well, maybe they'll put up something interesting...
We've got a kind of similar situation - there is a ranch that we pass every time we come up the hill from Sacramento that has/had buffalo...we always meant to stop and ask to take some pictures - read in the paper recently that the rancher has retired and sold all his babies to another ranch several hours away
