This is lovely! The composition is very nice. I love the way the lines of daffodills lead your eye to the beautiful old building. The pinks and yellow compliment one another nicely. :)

I grew up in soCal, too...Santa Barbara and Ventura areas...how about you? (people down there don't think of those areas as so cal but up here near Sacramento anything south of San Francisco is concidered south :laughing:)

I think of Santa Barbara as the North end of SoCal. I grew up in the San Bernardino mountains.
Isn't it funny how the perspective on north and south changes based on where you are. :)

That is soooo true! Living in Santa Barbara I thought of Monterey as the north/south break :D my husband is from Redding and Chico area and he deffinitely includes San Francisco as South :laughing:

BTW, both my parents and one of my sisters graduated from UCSB. There was a little bookshop in Goleta I used to love to visit whenever we went up there.

:laughing: I'd gone to SB jr. hi, SB sr hi, SB community college...it was time to go away for my BA - I went to Chico...where I met my husband and then took him back down south :giggle: with the promise that we'd some day move back up - last April (2008) we did :D
