Love the look and feel of this shot and b/w was the perfect choice for it. :D  Beautiful composition!

I took this shot for a contest but didn't enter it (used a different one) should have gone with this

beautiful scene, very peaceful! love the bench in the water and the sparkles on the waves.

i'm not a huge fan of b&w (i think because of my vision problems - i see the world better in color than in b&w), but i can appreciate it ;) so... take anything i say with a grain of salt, but, somehow this is missing something ... i just can't figure out what. maybe burning in the sky a little more? :scratcheshead:

i'm saying that because i love the lower third more than the upper half (i know, does not add up, but, scroll up and down and you might be able to see what i mean) :D

I know what you're saying - and if I choose this shot for the contest I'll do some layer work on the sky...if you tilt your screen you'll see the clouds that were there but as is if I adjusted the contrast to pull them out then the water went too dark so I thought I'd put it up "as is" and get feedback. Also I just loved that bench :giggle:

What's with your vision that makes shadings harder for you to see? If I'm too nosy just let me know - but being aware that I see colors differently with each of my eyes makes me curious as to how others see, also....
