:D we'd taken the regular freeway route over to Napa and wanted to do something different on the way home as we really didn't have anything demanding out time other than darkness so while Bryan hit "alternate route" on the navigation system, I looked at the map and found our eventual route which included following this "creek".

Just laughed at myself - I've still got the southern California mentality of what is a 'river' and what is a 'creek'...this sure looked like a 'river' to ME!!!

its a river to me tooo.....you can cross a creek by foot and this looks like you would have to swim unless you have some powers we dont know about
