I won:winner:2nd Place:w00t:

This is for the Seasons Collage contest by the Everything-Nikon Club...[link]

Everyone thinks of Southern California as a lush green paradise. In truth it is, by nature, a desert. Only where people live and import water is it green. This being so, we do not get the expanses of glowing autumn leaf color.

The far left photo shows the chaparral, grass and yucca of the typical foothill brush. But when water gathers, the sycamore and beech trees can grow as the far right photograph illustrates.

The center five are a collection of leaves as they float and pool in the corners of the creek.

In my collage I have attempted to show our fall color in all its subtle beauty.

:giggle: you go to the Deviation and click on it so you are on the actual Deviation page (you know where you have options like "collect" and "fave" and stuff... I cant remember what it's called) and where it says "Print not Enabled" Click on that and follow the prompts...all deviants have a free print account but you can upgrade to a Premium account....I hope that made sense..yeah I would totally buy it..it's beautiful and you did and excellant job

Thank you! I've been wanting to do something for that contest but couldn't decide what...it took me waaaaay longer than it should have to put together but I learned a lot with the trial and error method :D (I did it with out help from my daughter, except for critique...:w00t:)
