No ice in this part of the lake...those are bouys. Even though there was over ten feet of new snow up here last week most of it was gone at lake level. And the temps today were down right balmy!!!

 yes, this time of year is so weird  ...the rain :raincloud: we drove in before we got home today had some chunky drops :giggle: ...but, the temps were in the 40's... but, dang it! ...I was sure enjoying being a bit warmer down south :D

Yes! We had more extreme weather this month than pretty much the rest of the winter. We are well over normal for rain and snow - no drought this year, lol. First time in about a decade that all the big lakes are full...and there are several rivers that are in flood watch! As much as I'm enjoying the last few warm days it is melting things too fast...

well, fortunately for us... even though we had freezing temps while we were gone, from what I could see of our daffodils and such (thru the rain :D) ...it appears that they may have actually survived :faint: ...and just have gotten "slowed down" a bit by the colder temps :fingerscrossed: I'll have to go out to tomorrow and see if they are okay...

so of our early daffys got a bit bedraggled but the rest are now making up for it :giggle: The poppies and lupin were 'slowed down' too and are just now beginning to show - I hope we get a few more light rain showers to help extend our blooming season...though my husband is so sick with airborne allergies I know he wants it all over!!
