Now this is just plain pretty! Excellent composition Ruth. Great bokah! (see, I can be taught!) :giggle:

What strikes me most about this shot is the way the two flowers are almost mirror images of each other...perfect! Added surprises are nice, aren't they? :omfg:

:laughing: after reading KKart's article on bokeh (I was even spelling it wrong!) I went back and looked at the pic I've entered in the bokeh contest...I guess I've got a poor lens :giggle: the poppies make doughnuts...I'll have to keep looking to see if I can find a shot with light points to see if they are, too :D but I knew my lens wasn't the best...Nikor doesn't make a wide angle/300mm/macro :lmao:

thanks for the compliments and I am much happier seeing the little critter on the flower and NOT on my arm! (I get huge itchy welts from the little 'no see ums' :no:)
