I cannot tell if I've ever seen a better example of using contrasting colors to make art POP! When they showed us Contrasting Colors in high school art class, my thought was "Blue and orange??! Ugh!!" (Think: royal blue and orange of high school athletics uniforms). Your photograph should be hung in art classes to make students say, "Blue and orange? Aaaaahh!"

Wonderful job!

P.S. in reference to the cloudy skies that day.....I love to shoot on cloudy days, too. It creates a surreal, glowing photo at times because the ambient light seems to be everywhere....kind of like the way the book of Revelations describes Heaven.
