A pano of Lake Casitas from my favorite angle...it was 104 up here in northern CA, wished I could go walking by this water...

(Full size, please!)

Edit: This is "my" lake from Southern Califnornia, spent thousands of hours here hiking, fishing, kayaking, feeding the ducks and my daughter grew up here as it was about 3 miles away from our home. I took the shots before we moved and I was missing it...

Wow! It got to 104 in Northern California? It must have been hotter down here in Southern California than I thought. ^^;

Wow! This turned out great! Good to know you got it to work! I love the clouds! And look! Mountians in the RIGHT SPOT! :D The saturation is wonderful, and the color of the water is amazing!

Take a look at my other gallery --> [link]
i've been watching the weather for no. cal (as my family lives there), and, i'm not sure, but it's possible no. cal was hotter than so. cal. as we in the northwest (i'm in boise, idaho) are suffering from the same heat-wave right now, and it may not be the same "heat" system that is in southern california... but i could be wrong ;)

No, this is in southern California...I took the shots before we left. It was where I spent a whole lot of my time when we lived about 5 minutes away, Cait basically grew up here...I was just missing it and the wishing was for being beside familiar waters where it would have been cooler!!! I actually have been as far around it as the trails go and all the way around in my kayak :D

This was my lake back in southern California...it was my favorite view - I've got several shots in my gallery of the same basic angle. I was missing it yesterday 'cuz it was sooooo hot up here that I went back in my "photo album" to work on the shots I took a bit before we moved... I'm going to add an edit to that photo with links to the other shots.
