Btw, think I want a 2011 Rav4. Still looking. Did drive some. Also drove Prius. So am getting closer to deciding. Not that this is the area to discuss this, but it came to mind. lol

What does 2012 have that 2011 doesn't? I was told by a dealer (a very nice guy, too, who was giving me honest info, quite a change from the usual guys) that there wasn't all that much diff between the years, but that the savings would be much better for the 2011 because of end of year. Though color choices might not be as good.

I don't think there is much difference - availability would be the big deal...whenever you decide to "jump" I will be able to see what is available and the prices, be it an '11 or a '12...just know that any salesman - nice as they can be - is going to work to get as much money from you as possible...that's their job and how they get paid. I work for you - to get you the lowest price possible...that's MY job :D
