HOLY CRAP THAT'S SO SMALL! Where'd you find it? Are you in Europe or something? That would explain it. I'm in America and all the frogs I see are like bullfrogs or thingies. Although I did catch a tiny springpeeper... <3
LOL! Nope I'm in California - in the foothills east of Sacramento heading up toward Lake Tahoe...I've been told this is a little (well, full grown) tree frog. I think they're similar to your springpeeper... The handful that you liked before are baby toads and they'll get to about the size of a large chicken egg. We have a small year round stream a few blocks away down the valley (across a cattle field) but our little garden is the only place where there is water 'cuz I water it so I think the moisture and bugs drawn by our dim garden lights lure the amphibians to our door
Oh, I have to go to a creek near a hospital to get the bigger frogs, and the spring peeper's I only caught at a fifth grade camping trip (best elementary school memory, I caught 2 spring peepers and 1 bull frog). The camping trip was in the Poconos, because I live in Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia. Check my journal! But, there are no tree frogs where I live. It sucks. >:C
