found this paper kite hanging in a thrift shop in Angels Camp CA on the day roadtrip with :iconcaitiekabob:

The light coming through a skylight made it glow :love:

Both Caitlin and I were enthralled with the way the light made this glow :love: The dark of the rafters was a bonus! (I only had to clone out one small area :giggle:)

I did darken the beams of the barn a bit to let the kite stand out...but it did just glow :love:

LOOL, no...no place to hang it from ... we thought about it being on a pole off our deck but it is still raining and then when it's not we've got wind that would shred it :( so only photos and 'memories' :giggle:

hmmmm...I wonder if something like it in nylon would work on the woodpeckers...they're driving us crazy right now!

Now that you mention it, I wonder what the deer would do :shrug: they obviously didn't mind the cat - as long as he didn't get toooo close...
