Thank you!  I battled a bit with this on at the time I took it - level horizon and all having been beat into my head years ago, lol, but this hill is really steep Down in my valley by kayaksailorand if I had leveled it then the poppy stems would be wrong :giggle:  thankfully it worked out well :D

The color combination along with the shallow DOF create an inviting photo. Nicely done.

Thank you!! This is the field near my home and was the most exquisite blooming  The weather this spring has been cooler and so the flowers are more hidden down in the grasses :(

Love the bokeh! Our poppies are about to bloom in some weeks. You gave me ideas of new ways to shoot them.

Thanks so much! This was from two springs ago...this year we have been much colder and now that the sun is out the grass has grown much faster than the poppies so I don't think we'll get this field full view :( and I'm disappointed!!

LOL, we were so thrilled last year...we moved up in April 2008 and either we were too late or they just didn't bloom much 'cuz we sure didn't have them like we did last spring!! All kinds of wildflowers...

Love the dof. Shooting at 200mm to anything above gives you amazing focus, and heres a good example. :)
