Redtail in a sky of blue by kayaksailor Redtail in a sky of blue by kayaksailor
(wallpaper sized)

Our two local redtails were circling on the Spring feeling thermals today  I'm hoping they have their nest nearby again this year :fingerscrossed:

they are such striking birds :iconlovenodplz: I love looking down on them when they're further in the canyon but this is the more common view :D

My only gift this past Christmas (way too expensive, lol) was a Nikkor 28-300mm ED VR :faint: I was so shocked when I opened it   We've got rain now, finally!  Had way too many blue skies this winter (I know - nothing to complain about from most of the US)

That sounds like a very nice gift to me too Ruth and was this suggested by you or just a total surprise as many photographers are particular about their lens interests!!  By the way to talk though, sounds like Caitie perhaps had a lot to do with the specific unti!!
Anyway ... have fun with the new lens and we aren't doing well over here weather-wise at all again!! :(  Oh well ... maybe by May or something .. who knows!! :giggle:  Take care and tell Caitie "hello" for me ... talk to you later I hope!! ~Lee
