There really needs to be a crayon named Rockrose Pink - maybe a highlighter pen color :giggle: They almost florese they're so bright! And they've got fuzzy leaves :love:

I wouldn't be surprised...we had them when in Ventura...and now that you mention it they were a lighter color!!

sorry for the late replay but yeah we have couple of them that bloomed already and I just took some pictures of all the wild flowers that are growing in my back yard.

even with the extra rain we've had this spring most of the flowers are gone here...but the grasses keep on growing :rage: and the weed clearing we did in April has to be done again :laughing:

yea.. overcast is great for good color.. I often shoot fall foliage on cloudy days

Its a beautiful vibrant color! The flower looks like its been grabbed and wrinkled... like paper. Is that the way they all look?

:nod: Yep! They smooth out a little during the day but they all start out like they've been crinkled :giggle: And the flower only lasts one day...you can see some buds in the top of the shot.
