Searching for meteors

Warning: Don't try this at home LOL. We have experience and knowledge.

While out trying to catch one of the few Perseid meteors we found this fat diamondback up on the road...he was sooooo full of gopher he couldn't even coil up (nor did he want to) He was so calm all he did was turn his head and flick his tongue...not a rattle

For all you concerned friends and watchers - we are always very careful in our observation of these snakes and their individual temperaments. They are generally non-agressive and take a lot of handling (with tools) to even coil. In the past four years we have re-located over 50 snakes with nary a bite or even a 'near' strike!
