I don't always have my Nikon with me, but I have a little Olympus that is always in my purse  And phone cameras are getting so incredibly good now too!

Yeah phone cameras are getting better, but they suck at motion shots! My dogs move too fast to for phone cameras. :) Do you like your Olympus better than your Nikon?

LOL, I know what you mean about motion shots :D

My Olympus is a little camera - a few steps up from a 'point and shoot' but it is waterproof to 30 feet, drop proof, crush proof and freeze proof  which is why it goes everywhere with me

My Nikon is what I call a real camera - single lens reflex, inter-changable lenses, able to adjust shutter/aperture etc....so there really is no comparison...

WATERPROOF, that is just fantastic, I'll have to keep that in mind.

It is!! My daughter and I volunteered for several years at a small aquarium in Santa Barbara CA where we were docents for the "shark tank" where you can reach in and touch small sand sharks...having always been sooooo dang careful of keeping water away from our cameras you can imagine how our hearts stopped when one day a woman just dunked her camera INTO THE TANK!!!!!!!!!!!! We had to know what kind it was, lol, and now we both have one :w00t:
