I noticed yesterday that we have our first California poppies on the edge of our driveway...and the daffodils are beginning to push up their green :love: we may get another dusting of snow (we did have a few inches last Valentines Day) but it does feel like spring is on the way...you could have snow for several more months, yes?

Usually, we only have snow for a couple of days every winter, since the climate here in our region in western Germany is highly influenced by the sea and the Gulf Stream. This is similar to the situation in England, Ireland or the Netherlands.

This year, however, we've had a lot of snow for almost two months! :o At the moment, fortunately, the last remains are melting, and spring is going to start now, hopefully! :)
