I was surprised to see this little creek so lush too! We've begun getting some rain so the hills are beginning to green over a bit...this one is tucked way down in a deep valley with lots of pine trees to shelter and is the "headwater" for a fairly large creek when the seasons are wet

Here in Northern CA there are more year round water sources, unlike Southern CA and their "wet weather" creeks LOL. We had one in our backyard in Ojai that had water ONLY when it was raining!
