i'm so dumb - i FINALLY got why they're called the BRIDAL Falls! LOL... thanks for helping me out - I can see now the bride's veil in your lovely photograph. :ashamed:

LOL, :rofl: not laughing AT you, but with you! I had that same kind of :iconlightbulbplz: moment regarding Bridal Falls in Yosemite on my first visit there years ago...I kept thinking "vale" like a meadow and didn't get it until I saw a sign with the Veil spelled out :giggle:

And this little waterfall is more like a "First Communion" veil in size compared to Yosemite's huge one :D
