wallpaper sized view of the Yosemite Valley from the entrance to the Park from the famed Tunnel View overlook...



(OK, I can't do it. Have to admit - the moon was added. It had risen about an hour and a half earlier while we were still on the valley floor - before this shot was taken; so I did take that photo, but I added it to this one...wanted to put this up under landscape as the wallpaper manipulation selection are usually much more "manipulated" :giggle:)

The color was really neat! This was two years ago - it got faved and while looking at it I realized I hadn't submitted it to Wyld-Art so I dragged (drug?) it out of the archives :giggle:

Life has been busy these last couple weeks so no trips - hopefully that'll change soon :nod: How about you? All snowed in?

The holidays do get crazy, don't they? I've had a wonderful season, but am ready for 2013. And yes, we've got some lovely snow here but nothing the plows can't handle. No big storms yet. :-)

Looks natural, cannot tell that you put the moon in. This is done all the time even with film. So to me it is very exceptable. Nice work. Can't wait, as I will be going there for my anniversary in May.

I really like your Yosemite photography. Personally, I like to present my work OoC as often as possible, but I can really appreciate HDR work, especially when it is as well done as this.

Thanks! I tend to be pretty much of a purist too but the rocks just weren't looking "rockish" enough :giggle: so the hdr program Dynamic helped bring it out...
