yes, I'm always amazed when I see them with modern things... like DSLR cameras... and expensive tennis shoes Somehow it doesn't quite fit together (and fashion wise ...the tennis shoes just don't fit with the long dress, either )
I was trying to get the man that was with them - he had the typical beard with no mustashe and the flat brimmed hat... Cait and I also noticed a group of middle eastern people - no idea what country but the women were all covered, long sleeves, double head dress etc. while the men were in short sleeve t-shirts and shorts!!!!! Seemed soooo dang unfair
taking a quick break ...and was going to answer another of your comments... but, saw this one first... and just couldn't resist Yes, I've always thought the whole thing of the women having to wear all this "crap" ...whilst the gentlemen dress in "western" attire is definitely unfair! In Pennsylvania, years ago... we saw some type of Mennonites or Amish... where the women looked to be totally entrenched in the early 1800's with skull cap, and old fashioned lace up, high heeled, ladies dress boots... and yet, their men wore western shirts, cowboy boots, and Levi's jeans ...and had neither mustaches or beards... and could have fit right in... in any country & western bar TOO BIZARRE! back to work! back later...
